Falcon Lake Fishing Report-March 2010 |
|
March Fishing Report Water temperature at Falcon Lake is between 59 to 61 degrees depending on time of day. The water level is steady at 289.87 ft. High winds and low temperatures paired up with fronts and high pressures have kept the fish on stand by mode. Some fish have spawned, but the cold weather has delayed the main one. You can still catch fish in 1 to 3 ft. of water in back of deeper creek channels. Post spawn bass can be found in main lake points and along some kind of flooded brush. Old brush line is at the 271 ft. level or about 12 to 18 ft. of water. Lipless crankbaits and mag flukes will work the best. March is the start of spring, and hopefully the start of beautiful weather for us here in Falcon Lake. Plan a trip for this next few months; you will enjoy it!!! Thanks again for your support and see you at the lake. Robert Amaya
