Falcon Lake Fishing Report-November2009

Falcon Lake fishing in November...
It is going to be a good one with fish getting ready for the winter. Our fishing trips have been mostly flipping heavy cover in 10 to 22 ft of water. There is a lot of brush of the main river channel with a lot of heavy brush and tilapia are near all of it and they are eating the algae off the branches and the big bass are below just waiting. Power Tackle GM5-7'3" is the rod that can get the job done and has been working. The FB4- 7'6" is also getting a good workout with a lot of big fish coming offshore with a 3/4 or 1 oz football jig. If you don't have one, go to  www.powertackle.com you need to get one you be glad you did when you battle with these Falcon Bass. The rods have the back bone and the action to get these fish in the 8 to 11 pound range to the boat they are second to none. Power Tackle has a good line of rods for everyone's style of fishing and haveeven built some with cork handles. These rods are fished and tested by all of us that love to fish for big bass here in Texas. If you are planning a trip to fish Falcon Lake give us a call or E mail us www.robertsfishntackle.com and book a trip! Water level is at 288 ft and we are 13 ft low which is still almost full, water temp is @ 76deg.

Thank You and good fishing.
