Falcon Lake Fishing Report-February 2010

This month is going to be the start of the spawn season. Fish slow and respool your reels with 20 -25 lb. fluorocarbon or 50 to 65 braid line and stick to flats closest to creek channels.  Texas rig senkos, brush hogs and flukes are the ticket on Power Tackle Rods.  I have been fishing with the same rods for the last two years, and have caught some big toads without breaking a single rod.  These rods are built tough and are worth the investment.  Come by the shop to browse our selection or order from the Power Tackle website www.powertackle.com  As always have a great time fishing and we will see you in Zapata Texas Home of Falcon Lake.
