Lake Choke Canyon Fishing Report-May 2009 |
|
water clarity: stained temp: 70's Fishing has been very, very good, there has been a share lunker caught about every week over the past two months and then some. Have been staying on main lake points if the wind allows, throwing dd22's and 3/8 oz. Texas rig 10 inch power worms. There is still a lot of shallow fish in the 2-8 foot range, lots of hydrilla growing in that depth. Still throwing red rattle traps and shad colored shallow running crank baits. When the wind is blowing there is still a lot of fish to be caught up the river flipping shallow hard woods, fish in the pockets near the river channel. Thanks and Good Fishing, Charles Whited
