Lake Choke Canyone Fishing Report-October 2009 |
|
water temp.---88 degrees
water clarity---slightly stained October fishing at Choke should really be hot. We are looking at a really good frog and buzz bait bite at the outer edge of the grassline. The water has come up about 3 foot from the last rain, making the flipping bite in the grass a really good mid day pattern between three and four fingers on the North bank. If your not into flipping grass there are still humps and ridges holding fish about 18 to 25 foot using carolina rig with favorite plastics and/or football head jig. Looking forward to November and December for a really good river bite counting on the lake levels.
