Lake Waco Fishing Report - August 2008 |
|
The Lake is 1.05 ft low and there are a lot of fish being caught flipping shallow brush 4-7ft. Concentrate on the high potential areas (there is so much brush you don't want to waste a lot of time trying to fish all of it) Focus on the main points and small ditches that lead off of the numerous shallow flooded timber flats available on the lake. Pitch these areas early with dark colored plastics on the PG104.5-76 and 25lb test line. Also with the lake steadily losing water, some of the larger fish are showing up on the humps and points; throw shad colored DD22 on the PGC170-70.
