Power Tackle Edition 17 April, 2009

The Warm Weather is Officially Here

The nights are now consistently warmer and the days here in Del Rio have been downright hot! With the weeks’ forecast to have highs in the 100’s already, that means that it could be a long hot summer. No problem though. It could also mean that the big girls could be about to start snapping at Lake Amistad. Seems like the big ones have been pretty elusive around here, making us all scratch our heads and come up with all kinds of theories. Some of which even say that the giants are gone, but I doubt that. These girls are seemingly just a bit smarter than the average bass! Never the less, we will not stop our pursuit in trying to land a big head! From our reports, fishing in all of our lakes is picking up and lake records across the state could be broken this year!

April tournament results from our Power Tackle guys!

Now on to who had success this past month with our rods. If we have not listed someone, please forgive me and please let us know when you have placed in a tournament with Power Tackle rods.
