Another Busy Month for Power Tackle
Not only are we all fishing tournaments, we are also very busy here at the shop building rods. In spite of the economic fears in our country, we are all still fishing and making rods! Of course, the bass rods are still going out the door as fast as we can make them, especially our unique cranking rods. We get reports daily that these cranking rods, the PGC170, and the PGC166, PTC70 and the PTC66 are the finest cranking rods being made today. If you have not tried one of these rods, this summer may be the right time to give them a try. Cranking season is here and from the following results, it looks like a very good and productive season has begun.
All New Thinwater Series Coming Soon!
The Power Tackle ThinWater Series will be out in one month….These rods are out in our pro staff’s hands as we speak being tested and trialed, and this comes right in time for some really good salt water fishing. We are very excited about this new line and know that you will be too. Be looking for the first place you can buy these fine rods. Information on that will be coming very soon.

FLW COLLEGE FISHING |
| We need to update the results from the beginning of the year for this great event. FLW and the National Guard have teamed together to bring the sport of fishing to the collegiate level and they have done a wonderful job. The venue is very exciting and the prizes are nothing to sneeze at either. There are 4 College Fishing Events that follow the Stren tournaments and the top 5 teams in each of the 4 tournaments will qualify and advance to the FLW COLLEGE REGIONAL TOURNAMENT. From there the top 5 will advance to the NATIONAL FLW COLLEGE FISHING TOURNAMENT. From there the top team member with the most points will be able to fish with the pros in the Forrest Wood Cup in July and August. Power Tackle has a few of the college boys on our side and we are very proud of them. The results are as follows: |
