Power Tackle delivers winnings at S.I.T. tournament The S.I.T Tournament was held Sept 20th and 21st at Lake Amistad. Power Tackle offered contingency money to the highest placing finishers with Power Tackle rods in their boats, for both days. Day # 1 winner was Robert Robles and Clint Robertson. They finished day 1 in 7th place. 
On day 2, Jim and John Criswell were the top finishers that qualified, finishing the day and the tournament in 2nd place. These guys all won $500.00 worth of Power Tackle merchandise. 
FLW-Stren Series, Red River, La. September 23-26 was the last of the Stren Series 2008 Texas Division tournaments. Power Tackle’s Tim Reneau braved the recent hurricanes and fished this tournament. He finished the first 3 days of the tournament in 8th place, so he qualified to fish in the top ten on day 4, where he advanced to 7th place. Tim flipped hyacinth mats with a PG-104.5 and a Strike King Space Monkey creature bait. This tournament assured Tim of a spot in the Stren Series Championship at Table Rock Lake in Branson Mo. He will fish this tournament on November 5-8. 
Tuff Man series underway The Tuff Man Series has begun and Power Tackle has also offered contingency money for these tournaments. The last weekend in September, Scott Schilling and Billy Eaton won the tournament using Power Tackle rods. They won $500.00 worth of Power Tackle merchandise.
