Power Tackle Edition 28 March, 2010

First off, I want to apologize to all of our faithful readers and subscribers to our newsletter. You certainly noticed that there was not a newsletter the past month and we missed another one before. Don't let the lack of communication be a reflection or sign that we are loafing! On the contrary, we have been so busy and sometimes under staffed, that we regretfully have let some things slip past us. I hate excuses so I will not waste your time with them anymore, but be assured that you will be getting up to date news in the tournament world and monthly lake reports from our faithful pro staff from here on out.

Our website will have a whole new look and be much user friendly in the near future, with good product pictures and even video footage of our products.

All of this change is coming about to make room for our new lure, The Power Tackle Lateral Perch. We will not say much more as we still have a few more weeks before it will be ready to sell, but rest assured the wait will be worth it. This new and innovative lure will be here just in time...for as reports you will see, fishing has really picked up the past month. The Perch has been tested and proven in several of the past month's tournments by some of our pro staff and guides, in fact in the past 8 months the Perch has caught over 1000 bass in all different kinds of fishing styles. We will not submit a picture just yet, but it will be very soon. We are expecting sales to begin on or before April 30. Without a doubt it has proven itself in all water columns from 0-30 feet of water.

In addition to the new lure, our new cranking rods have been wildly popular. The new 7'3" all glass rod is as sensitive and fierce as the 7'0" that we have always had, but many "die hard" cranking fans have asked for a bit longer cranker and we listened and agreed. Then we have launched the even newer Composite Cranker...another 7'3" cranking rod that features graphite from the bottom half of the rod that tapers to our original fiberglass all the way to the tip. New Fuji guide systems sets this rod right to be your Ultimate "Trap" rod and all sized crankbaits. Even with component prices rising, we decided to keep the new all glass rods the same price as our PGC170 and PTC70, and the composite cranker just $ 10.00 higher. Though at this time there are no pictures of these rods on the site, they will be there very soon, and you can find these rods at our great dealers.

This winter has been extremely cold and wet...bad news for us trying to get out there and fish, but good news for for the Spring. But now the weather is trying to warm and already there have been record catches on our Texas lakes with promises of the same thing in lakes across the US. So bundle up and get out there and THINK SPRING and the SUN!
