Power Tackle Edition 6 May, 2008

Hello again from your friends at Power Tackle.

Many of you have asked for a rod with an action between our moderate fast PG-104 and the mag-heavy PG-105. The PG-104.5-7’6” is now available and offered in both the Paragon and No-Ratz models. This will be a great rod for heavy flipping as well as Carolina and Texas rigging with bigger baits. The PG and PT 104.5 also offer a slightly shorter handle which makes it also a great frog rod.

Win BIG at the Texas Tuff-Man tournament with Power Tackle

Power tackle will be offering contingency money in the Tuff-man team circuit this year. The winning power tackle team in the Tuff-man championship will receive an additional $1000.00 and the winning Power Tackle team at all three of the qualifiers will receive $500 in Power Tackle merchandise. For more information please visit the Tuff-Man details page on our web site.

Tournament News

The Power Tackle Pro staff have been hard at work testing all of the new rod models. At the last FLW event held at Beaver Lake Arkansas Power Tackle pros Keith Combs and Jerry Green finished 16th and 17th.
- Keith used a PGC-170 and a square billed crank bait exclusively
- Jerry fished spinner bait on a PG-143 around spawning shad.
Jerry also rode this same pattern the week before to a 6th place finish at the FLW Stren Series on Lake Texoma.

Tim Reneau and Judy Churchill put the SBP-4 to the test in a recent win at Lake Amistad the team fished swim-baits around perch beds to bring in 29.83.

Our regional Pro Staffers are catching big sacks of fish on Choke, Amistad, and Falcon.  Check out the latest fishing reports on our Fishing Reports Tab
